Mouse Acceleration
Mouse acceleration issues can be fixed by changing the Gaming preference within the main VMware preferences window. Set this to Never optimize mouse for gaming as shown in the screenshot to the right.

Mounting a Virtual Disk Image
To mount a virtual disk image, you must have MacFUSE installed and the VM must be powered off.
Right click on the VM's .vmwarevm file within the Finder and select Open With → VMDKMounter.app.
Notes
- VMDKMounter.app is located at
/Library/Application Support/VMware Fusion/VMDKMounter.app. - OS X has read-only access to NTFS by default. To enable write access, you can install a program called NTFS 3G.
Flickering Cursor
I had an issue with my cursor flickering between the Windows (white) and OS X (black) cursor whenever I moved the mouse in a virtual machine. I noticed that a webkit process had unusually high CPU usage when this issue occurred. Closing a Safari window I had in the background seemed to fix this issue. Hulu was the only site open in that Safari window, so perhaps it was Flash related.
Restarting VM NAT
If the VM NAT server isn't working, run the following command in a Terminal window to restart it:
sudo /Library/Application\ Support/VMware\ Fusion/boot.sh --restart
